Building Indiana News Given Hermes Award

For the first time, Building Indiana News was recently selected a 2008 Hermes Gold Award Winner. It marks the eighth national/international award Building Indiana News, a northern Indiana business magazine published by Diversified Marketing Strategies, Inc., has won since the publication began less than three years ago.

“It’s exciting for us at Building Indiana News to tell the growing story of northern Indiana’s transformative economy. To be recognized for our ongoing efforts to report and promote economic development and construction-related activities is gratifying,” Building Indiana News Publisher Andrea Pearman said.

Hermes Creative Awards, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, web-based innovators, and freelancers. The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals began in 1995 as a means to honor outstanding achievement and service to the communication profession.
